How to divide a chocolate between two friends

Probably all of us were in such situation when we had to cut something on two equal parts to divide a thing between you and somebody else. It could be bread, water, heap of diamonds.

But we all know that it is impossible to split something on two absolutely equal parts. So, if both persons want the biggest part it could end up with arguments and even fights.

Here I will tell you how you can do it good, peacefully and honestly. Let's split a piece of chocolate.

We have two friends and one piece of chocolate. The rule is very simple:

"One person divides, another chooses"

That is it. If person "A" breaks the chocolate, person "B" chooses the part to have. Person "A" will make everything to cut it as equal as possible because he knows that his friend will try to choose bigger part. No war, no arguments, no fights. Who is "A" and who is "B" doesn't matter, any person will make his best to cut it right if he knows that another person will make a choice.

Works even in desert. :-)
