Me vs Hidden Defect Engineers: Back Bag

The Story:
About 3 years ago I have bought this back bag made by Escape company. It looked nice and reliable. It had big sections for my laptop and papers, also many small pockets for other stuffs I carry daily. I liked it...
Payed $100.00

...but(!) I didn't know that hidden defect engineers of this company have programmed this product for only 3 months of use.

Plastic locks on back belts

were just broken on both sides after 3 months of regular daily use. Inner plastic bar of those locks was so thin and weak it simply couldn't hold the weight this bag was made for. I had to throw this bag away and buy a new one.

I hate this feeling!

Few minutes of thinking and solution was found. I've replaced those stupid plastic pieces with metal key rings. Two for each belt:

Defect was fixed for less than $0.50 and 10 minutes

I am using this particular back bag for 3 years now. No other major problem is found so far.

Making Phone Live Longer with Glue-Tape

You wanna make your phone/camera/radio/GPS/MP3 device live longer?

Just cover all unused holes/connectors with glue-tape and then put on the silicone cover.

This will protect your device from the dust and moisture coming inside and will significantly reduce the chance of having corrosion problems.
It is also a good idea to cover all holes when taking your device to outdoor trips, specially to the beach.
